Manager/Senior Manager, Industry Development (Advanced Manufacturing)

About the role

This role supports the jobs and skills pillar for the advanced manufacturing sector, working on manpower planning, stakeholder engagement and project management. It is based in Paya Lebar Quarter.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess industry manpower challenges and skills needs, and recommend strategic human capital solutions
• Engage strategic partners and companies to diagnose gaps and opportunities
• Build relationships with government agencies, associations, tripartite partners and programme partners to deliver manpower interventions
• Advise employers on adopting Workforce Skills Guarantee (WSG) programmes and progressive HR practices
• Plan and review budgets, organise career events and industry engagements, and track programme progress
• Analyse industry data to inform management decisions

Required profile

• Relevant experience in industry engagement, account/project management and/or consultancy roles
• Salary commensurate with experience
• Good knowledge of the precision engineering sub-sectors' background, trends, skills needs and value chain
• Understanding of government manpower initiatives is advantageous
• Entrepreneurial spirit, resilient and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
