Manager/Senior Manager, Patient Advocacy and Support Office

About the role

The Manager/Senior Manager plays a key role in advancing NUHS's work in care partnership. Reporting to the Group Chief Patient Officer (GCPO), the role works with patients, carers, external partners and healthcare teams to turn lived experience into insights, partnerships, service improvement and system change.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives on patient experience, patient and caregiver partnership and community engagement.
• Design and run stakeholder engagement, workshops, consultations and co-design activities.
• Carry out and oversee surveys, interviews, focus groups and other evidence-gathering methods.
• Analyse and synthesise insights to inform organisational decisions and improvements.
• Build and maintain partnerships with patients, carers, community organisations and healthcare stakeholders.
• Develop and implement programmes, frameworks and capability-building initiatives.
• Prepare reports, presentations and recommendations for senior leadership.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in healthcare, public sector, community, research or transformation settings.
• Experience building partnerships, networks or communities across diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives from concept to implementation through coalition building.
• Able to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives.

Required skills

• Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Understanding of survey design, qualitative inquiry and evidence synthesis.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to connect with the public, external organisations and senior leaders.
• Ability to analyse complex issues and develop practical recommendations.
