Manager/Senior Manager – Pharmacy Quality Assurance (2‑Year Contract)

About the role

The National University Hospital is building a GMP‑compliant sterile drug compounding hub and seeks a Manager or Senior Manager to lead Quality Assurance. Reporting to the Head of Quality, you will ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) meets GMP/GxP standards and supports safe, compliant compounding across hospital clusters.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the QMS to ensure audit‑readiness and compliance with GMP/GxP and regulatory requirements.
• Provide QA oversight of sterile compounding operations, reviewing and approving procedures, documents, records, deviations, investigations, CAPAs, change controls, gap assessments and product release decisions.
• Oversee product release decisions, guaranteeing complete and accurate documentation before release.
• Document, investigate and resolve deviations, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead and coordinate internal, customer and regulatory audits, ensuring timely closure of findings and sustained audit readiness.
• For senior‑level appointments, mentor the QA team and represent the organisation in regulatory and cross‑institutional engagements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance within a GMP‑compliant sterile compounding environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GxP, CAPA processes and audit procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage deviations, investigations and product release documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
