Manufacturing Engineer III (Medical)

About the role

Jabil is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer III (Medical) to plan, design, implement and manage integrated production and service delivery systems at a production site. The role aims for profitability, quality and continuous improvement of products and services throughout their life cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and implement projects that eliminate waste using standard Manufacturing Engineering processes, including complex process simulation, operations research and business model cost analysis.
• Verify time standards prepared within the ME team and update and report key industrial engineering metrics for the assigned customer or area.
• Drive process mapping, standardization of SAP and Manufacturing Execution System configurations, and process activities for new product introduction.
• Prepare quotes for proposed projects and coach, mentor and train engineers in the Manufacturing Engineering team.
• Support the Lean organization by building a solid process foundation and data integrity, and ensure site-wide standardization of Jabil processes.
• Comply with company security procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Understanding and application of a broad range of industrial engineering tools such as work measurement, simulation, process mapping, facilities and workstation design, and operations research.
• Understanding of Jabil's global strategy and of the site's facilities and capabilities.
• Strong financial and analytical ability, proven record of change management, continuous improvement and cost reduction programs, and strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of Medical ISO 13485 and FDA inspection is highly recommended.

• Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office products.
• Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.
