About the role
GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS) is looking for a Manufacturing Intern to join its P62 transformation journey. The intern learns and applies lean principles and spreads best practices from the past Kaizen/Shingi event to other cells and areas. GEAESS is the group's largest site for engine component maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), covering more than 60% of global repair volume.
Key responsibilities
- Take part in organisational continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing quality, productivity and cost reduction.
- Evaluate and analyse repair processes that will feed into the capacity and forecast analysis database.
- Implement a read-across of best practices within the business.
Required profile
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace or Industrial Engineering.
- Motivated, team-oriented and eager to learn in a collaborative environment.
Required skills
- Experience with 3D printing software is preferred.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence is an advantage.
