Manufacturing Technician (CNC)

About the role

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, is looking for a Manufacturing Technician (CNC) to join its team at the Seletar Aerospace View site in Singapore. The role is onsite and involves setting up and running CNC machines, following procedures and supporting quality and safety activities.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC (5-axis) machines
• Perform simple troubleshooting of machines
• Follow established procedures and work instructions, and interpret basic blueprints if required
• Assess the risk of your own activities and take corrective and preventive action
• Maintain daily 6S activities and support EH&S, Quality and CORE activities
• Take part in continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives
• Work across functional areas and comply with the RTX Code of Ethics and export regulations

Required profile

• Minimum NITEC in Precision, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in CNC machining, preferably in aviation, open to other manufacturing or MRO companies
• Able to work permanently in the 3rd shift
• Training will be provided

Preferred qualifications

• EDM machining skills and knowledge
• Experience operating CMM measurement machines
• Aerospace, manufacturing or precision engineering experience
