Manufacturing Technician, HBM

About the role

Micron is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for its Fab 10A facility. The technician supports day-to-day manufacturing operations in a high-volume, highly automated cleanroom environment, executing production plans, monitoring process performance and escalating issues that affect safety, quality, delivery and cost. The role works closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Process Engineers and cross-functional partners.

Key responsibilities

• Follow safety policies, quality systems and cleanroom protocols, and carry out work area inspections and safe work practices
• Handle, process and document products in line with quality and 6S requirements, and support containment actions when deviations occur
• Run daily production activities per production plans, work instructions and SOPs, and monitor flow, cycle time and WIP to support on-time delivery
• Check that materials, tools and equipment are ready, and escalate delays, abnormal trends and bottlenecks to engineers or shift leads
• Operate multiple machines in the cleanroom to meet shift targets, and support changeovers and basic equipment checks
• Monitor process parameters and equipment status, record and report abnormalities and deviations, and help troubleshoot minor issues
• Take part in continuous improvement, give feedback on processes and SOPs, and share AI-enabled improvements within their scope

Required profile

• Nitec or diploma in Engineering or Applied Sciences (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Materials or related)
• Able to work 12-hour shifts, including night shifts; no experience required, training provided
• Basic familiarity with manufacturing processes and high-volume production environments
• Ability to follow structured work instructions and use computer-based systems for data entry and reporting
• Clear verbal and written communication in English, attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
• Prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing or high-volume production is preferred
