Marine Service Engineer (Hydraulics System/PLC System)

About the role

We are seeking a Marine Service Engineer specialised in hydraulic and PLC control systems to support vessel operations across Singapore and overseas. The role involves on‑site inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of pumping and related systems on board and in our workshop.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and test pumping systems on vessels.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components.
• Assist with repairs and overhauls of equipment in the workshop.
• Participate in vessel dockings and commissioning activities at shipyards.
• Prepare professional reports documenting work performed.

Required profile

• Diploma or Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of PLC‑based control systems and/or hydraulic systems.
• Automation or instrumentation experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel overseas and work flexible hours when required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
