Marketing Associate – Community Insights & Digital Engagement

About the role
The Associate, Marketing will generate resident insights and turn community needs into relevant content, partnerships, and digital engagement initiatives for our shopping malls. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that insights are translated into actionable initiatives and timely updates across our digital platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research on resident demographics, behaviours, and emerging trends within mall catchment areas.
- Identify resident needs, preferences, and pain points, including the digital platforms they use.
- Monitor and analyse online community platforms such as Telegram groups, forums, and social channels to surface insights and opportunities.
- Track emerging topics that could inform mall programming, promotions, or partnerships.
- Support the team in sourcing, evaluating, and proposing deals, promotions, or featured goods and services.
- Assist in curating and managing content for the mall’s mobile app and website, ensuring timely and resident‑focused information.
- Coordinate with merchants and vendors to gather assets, validate offer details, and ensure accuracy before publication.
- Perform basic content‑management tasks including uploads, tagging, categorisation, and performance tracking.
- Monitor engagement metrics and provide simple reports to improve content relevance.
Required profile
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, MarTech, Business Analytics, Communications or a related field.
- Strong interest in community trends, digital platforms, and consumer behaviour.
- Detail‑oriented with good research and synthesis abilities.
- Energetic, execution‑focused, curious and comfortable working in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Proactive, adaptable, and a collaborative team player with good communication skills.
Required skills
- Basic familiarity with Content Management Systems.
- Comfortable navigating social and messaging platforms such as Telegram, WhatsApp, and forums.
- Basic experience with UI/UX prototype testing or tracking user click‑paths (advantageous).
