Marketing Executive - Consumer Electronics

About the role

A client of the recruiter handles the sales and marketing of consumer electronics and home appliances in Singapore. It is looking for a Marketing Executive based in Bedok, working full time Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm. The salary is listed as SGD 3,200 to 4,000.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and cultivate the assigned markets and understand competitors' products, pricing and sales strategies
• Develop marketing strategy, product positioning and messaging
• Carry out advertising and promotion activities such as product launches, product training and promotions
• Achieve targeted business share by product category and build brand equity
• Work closely with the sales team on product features, benefits and commercials
• Manage marketing, sales and product P&L to achieve profitability
• Interact with business partners to achieve sales objectives
• Perform sales and inventory control and purchase management, plus ad-hoc duties

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing or Business
• At least 1 to 3 years of sales and marketing experience in a related industry or consumer products (preferred)
• Team player with strong analytical, international and communication skills
• Good business acumen, presentation skills and ability to conceptualise marketing directions
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, work overtime when required and travel locally or overseas when needed

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of business accounting P&L is an added advantage
