MAS Compliance Officer (Singapore AMLO)

About the role

Coin, a crypto brand in the Philippines regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, is looking for a hands-on Compliance Officer to act as the designated compliance lead for its Singapore regulated entity. The role covers Singapore regulatory compliance, with a strong focus on AML, counter-terrorism financing, sanctions and financial crime risk, and works closely with global legal, compliance, operations, product and risk teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the Singapore entity's Compliance Officer and main point of contact for local regulatory matters
• Ensure ongoing compliance with Singapore regulations, including MAS requirements on payment services, AML/CFT, technology risk and regulatory reporting
• Maintain and improve compliance policies, procedures and controls
• Support licensing obligations, regulatory submissions, audits, inspections and examinations
• Monitor regulatory developments in Singapore and coordinate with external counsel, auditors and regulators
• Support group-wide AML/CFT and sanctions programs, including CDD, EDD, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening and suspicious activity reporting
• Run AML risk assessments and review high-risk customers and escalations
• Deliver compliance training and prepare reporting materials for management, the board and regulators
• Support internal audits, maintain compliance records and help set compliance metrics and KPIs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field
• 3-5 years of compliance, AML or financial crime experience in fintech, payments, banking or cryptocurrency
• Strong understanding of Singapore AML/CFT regulations and MAS expectations
• Preferred: experience with payment institutions, digital assets or cross-border services, and CAMS, ICA or equivalent certification

Required skills

• Familiarity with FATF, sanctions regimes and the travel rule
• Experience managing compliance across multiple jurisdictions is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
