M&E Coordinator

About the role

The M&E Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing mechanical and electrical (M&E) works on construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. This junior‑level position reports to the project manager and works closely with design engineers, architects, and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all M&E works on site.
• Ensure M&E activities are performed on schedule, within budget, and comply with standards, codes of practice and safety regulations.
• Supervise and coordinate M&E works at the project site.
• Interpret main contract and subcontract requirements related to M&E.
• Monitor progress, workmanship quality and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and coordinate wall/floor penetration drawings for approval.
• Produce M&E coordination drawings and liaise with architectural coordinators and design engineers to obtain approvals.

Required profile

• Junior executive level with a background in construction or engineering.
• Ability to read and understand contract documents and technical drawings.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
