Mechanic (Contract)

About the role

ENGGSOL PTE. LTD. is seeking a contract‑based Mechanic to support its after‑sales service for bus fleets across Singapore. You will be the technical point of contact ensuring vehicles are serviced promptly and customers remain satisfied.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with customers to schedule bus servicing and repairs.
• Perform vehicle fault diagnosis and identify required parts.
• Open job cards in the service system and request parts.
• Carry out repair and service tasks, including battery maintenance and warranty/recall work.
• Record mileage, parts used, fault codes and other details accurately in service reports.
• Provide timely progress updates to customers and obtain their signature on completed work.
• Offer breakdown support and handle any ad‑hoc tasks assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, preferably with buses or heavy‑duty vehicles.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation and parts tracking.

Required skills

• Vehicle fault diagnosis

• Use of service management systems (job card creation and parts requisition)
• Recall and warranty procedure execution
