About the role
Gevernova is looking for a Technician who performs mechanical fitting work in accordance with work instructions. The role reports to the Operations Leader.
Key responsibilities
- Perform all fitting work in the assigned section according to work instructions.
- Perform blending and polishing repair work.
- Assist in dismantling, inspecting and refitting parts, and reassembling rotors and other mechanical equipment such as bearings, as assigned or according to work instructions.
- Ensure product quality, equipment care, production output and pace, housekeeping and schedules.
- Adhere to all applicable EHS rules and regulations and report immediately any unsafe practices or conditions.
- Support other areas of work as assigned.
Required profile
- National Technical Certificate (NTC) 3 in Mechanical or Marine Fitting, or equivalent.
- Candidates without relevant experience will also be considered, as on-the-job training will be provided.
