The role focuses on process integration and optimization of non-volatile memory (NVM) modules, including embedded silicon flash (ESF3), NOR Flash, MRAM and RRAM, so that they are manufacturable, reliable and performant for technology qualification.
Key responsibilities
- Lead process integration for embedded and standalone NVM technologies (eFlash, NOR Flash, MRAM, RRAM) across advanced CMOS platforms.
- Define and optimize process flows to meet electrical performance, reliability and yield targets.
- Work closely with device, process, design, reliability and product engineering teams to resolve integration issues and ensure manufacturability.
- Run structured experiments (DOE) and analyze data to evaluate process changes and their impact on NVM performance.
- Coordinate with project and cross-functional teams on program management, planning, scope, schedule, deliverables, budget control and reporting.
- Support technology qualification, customer engagement and production ramp-up.
- Drive continuous improvement of NVM yield, reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Document technical findings, process changes and integration strategies for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead a PI task force as technical lead, coach and mentor less experienced staff, and act as a technical leader.
- Perform GF system, Teamcenter and Anaplan sizing, organize core team meetings, prepare PMA and TRB exit reviews, and carry out reliability testing and failure analysis for NVM devices.
Required profile
- PhD, Master's or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Physics, Materials Science or another engineering discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in semiconductor process integration, including management.
- Experience with embedded NVM technologies (eFlash, NOR Flash, MRAM, RRAM) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of DFM and yield enhancement strategies; familiarity with reliability testing and failure analysis for NVM devices.
- Leadership, communication, analytical and decision-making skills, and fluency in written and spoken English.
- High-volume manufacturing (HVM) and technology transfer experience is a plus.
Required skills
- Data analysis tools such as JMP, Python and Spotfire, and statistical techniques.
- Process integration and DOE.
Training will be provided. Offers are subject to background checks and medical screenings where applicable.
