Merchant Sales Executive (F&B)

About the role

Grab's F&B Merchant Acquisition team in Singapore oversees and grows the restaurant business, partnering with restaurants to increase their customer base, sales and visibility online and offline. The Merchant Sales Executive helps restaurants adopt Grab's business solutions and works directly with restaurant owners and key decision-makers. The role reports to the Manager, Merchant Sales and is based onsite at Grab Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new restaurant partners through cold calling, networking, referrals, field prospecting and face-to-face meetings
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of sales opportunities using disciplined CRM and pipeline management
• Understand merchants' challenges and growth priorities and recommend suitable Grab solutions
• Conduct sales presentations, negotiations and contract discussions with business owners and decision-makers
• Build long-term relationships with merchants and identify future growth opportunities
• Work with Operations, Marketing and Account Management teams to ensure successful onboarding and adoption of Grab solutions
• Contribute ideas to improve sales processes and team effectiveness

Required profile

• 0-3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, merchant acquisition or other client-facing commercial roles
• Proven experience prospecting and acquiring new business in a consultative way
• Ability to engage business owners and decision-makers
• Thrives in fast-paced, target-driven environments and takes strong ownership
