Mobile App Developer (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a creative and driven Mobile App Developer to design, build, and maintain the next generation of our mobile applications. This remote contract role involves overseeing the full application lifecycle, from ideation and design through development, testing, and deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality iOS and Android applications.
• Integrate mobile apps with backend services, RESTful APIs, GraphQL and third‑party libraries.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to turn wireframes into intuitive, responsive interfaces.
• Write clean, scalable code, troubleshoot issues, and optimise performance, speed and battery consumption.
• Create and run automated unit and UI tests to ensure quality before release.
• Manage app store deployments, ensuring compliance with Apple App Store and Google Play guidelines.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 3‑5 years of professional experience building, deploying and maintaining mobile applications.
• Proficiency with cross‑platform frameworks (Flutter or React Native) or native development (Swift/Objective‑C for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL and cloud messaging services such as Firebase.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Reliable backup power supply, stable internet connection and a functional laptop.
