Mobile Repair Team Technician (MRT)

About the role

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, is looking for a Mobile Repair Team (MRT) Technician based in Singapore. The role runs day-to-day operations of the MRT team and provides on-site maintenance support to customers in the Asia Pacific region, including events administration and export control clearance checks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and certify maintenance, repairs and defect rectifications on Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) engine series according to approved procedures and regulations.
• Maintain the highest airworthiness standards during inspections and maintenance.
• Coordinate with Engine Programs, Field Support Managers and Customer First to deliver on-site support and minimise engine downtime.
• Liaise with customers to plan maintenance schedules, define work scopes and handle commercial and payment arrangements.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, Operations, Engineering and Quality teams to complete MRT events.
• Travel frequently, often at short notice, to customer sites across the region and provide in-shop support as assigned.
• Support engine field recommendations and troubleshooting queries from customers, FSMs and CRM cases.
• Follow EHS responsibilities: safe and environmental practices, reporting unsafe conditions and making safety suggestions.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of aviation experience with hands-on experience on gas turbine engines.
• CAAS B11, B13, C14, C15, M10/L11/L12 certification or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret technical standards, drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to travel internationally at short notice and to work shifts as needed.

Required skills

• Knowledge of gas turbine engine construction.
• Troubleshooting P&WC engines and interpreting technical documentation.
• Preferred: experience with P&WC engine models.
