About the role

Aureus Academy, Singapore’s leading music school, is seeking passionate musicians to join its teaching team. The role involves delivering personalized music lessons across a range of instruments and preparing students for examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare individualized lessons aligned with examination syllabuses.
• Teach music theory, aural skills and practical techniques for piano, violin, voice, guitar/ukulele and drums.
• Source and develop appropriate teaching materials and resources.
• Motivate students, monitor progress and provide feedback and reports to parents.
• Assess student abilities and prepare them for examinations.
• Participate in accompaniment, ensemble practice and school performances.
• Collaborate with colleagues on group activities such as camps and exam preparation.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualification – Master’s, Bachelor’s or Diploma in Music (e.g., ATCL, DipABRSM).
• 1‑2 years of teaching or related experience preferred.
• Bright, cheerful personality with confident communication skills.
