Network Engineer – Palo Alto & Panorama Support

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Network Engineer to manage and support our Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama management platform in Singapore. The role focuses on ensuring network security, performance, and reliability across the organization’s infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama, including policy configuration and firmware updates.
• Design, implement, and maintain NAT rules and security policies.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, firewall, and internet access issues.
• Configure and support VLANs, switches, routers, and IP addressing schemes.
• Monitor firewall logs, traffic flows, and security alerts, performing daily health checks.
• Perform configuration backups and coordinate change management.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve incidents.
• Maintain up‑to‑date network and firewall documentation.
• Follow ITSM/ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.
• Participate in a 24 × 7 standby support rotation.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Palo Alto firewall and Panorama administration.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching.
• Proven ability to manage firewall policies, NAT configurations and perform detailed troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL operational environments.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
