Non-Tech Project/Program Management – Ramp

About the role

Applied Materials is a global leader in materials science and engineering solutions that underpin semiconductor chips and advanced displays. This position supports non‑technical project and program management for ramp activities, ensuring projects meet specifications, cost, and schedule targets.

Key responsibilities

• Define project and program objectives, outcomes, milestones, and resource plans to enable effective execution.
• Deliver projects in line with product/process specifications, cost targets, resource utilization, and timelines.
• Document all phases of project, program, and process development and share information with relevant functional areas.
• Ensure compliance with company policies on notebooks, patents, confidentiality, and safety.
• Manage material and financial resources efficiently and collaborate with staff to maximize productivity.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in the discipline and basic knowledge of related areas.
• Understands best practices, market competition, and how the role integrates with other functions.
• Acts as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues and may lead small, low‑risk projects.
• Solves complex problems by analyzing multiple information sources and applying sound judgment.
• Impacts customer, operational, and project activities across teams while working within broad guidelines.
