3rd Shift Operations Management Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a 3rd Shift Manager to lead operations management in its Singapore manufacturing site. The role oversees production teams, ensures safety and quality, and drives continuous improvement on a critical shift.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate and develop a team of production employees, assigning work and setting priorities.
• Prioritize production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity and material requirements.
• Lead operational meetings, establish process consistency, and track performance metrics to improve cycle time.
• Ensure timely response to operational issues affecting customer satisfaction and drive corrective actions.
• Promote safety by enforcing Environmental, Health and Safety training and compliance.
• Identify and implement process and quality improvements, driving Lean, Safety and Quality initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising production teams on a shift schedule.
• Ability to analyze production data and implement continuous improvement actions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing safety, quality standards and Lean principles.
