Off-Cycle Investment Intern – Portfolio Development (Jan-Jun 2027)

About the role

Temasek is seeking a motivated off‑cycle intern to support its Investment Group/Portfolio Development team in Singapore from January to June 2027. You will work closely with senior analysts and managers on real‑world investment projects, gaining exposure to a global portfolio worth over S$500 billion.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct industry and company research to evaluate new investment opportunities.
• Assist in scoping value‑creation initiatives for portfolio companies, including benchmarking and partnership analysis.
• Monitor market trends, track portfolio performance, and prepare landscaping studies for emerging sectors.
• Build and maintain financial models, and draft investment memoranda.
• Support the preparation of presentation decks and analytical reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with coursework in finance, accounting, corporate finance or economics.
• Previous internship experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, venture capital or corporate development is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a proven capacity to manage multiple priorities independently.
• High level of analytical rigor and attention to detail.
