Onshore IT Software Developer – Full Stack (Angular, Java Spring, MySQL)

About the role

The Onshore IT Software Developer will design, develop, test, integrate and maintain application features across the frontend, backend and database layers for a secure public‑sector environment. You will use modern development practices and AI‑assisted tools to boost productivity, code quality and system reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain UI/UX components using Angular or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• Build backend APIs and business logic with Java Spring Boot.
• Create and optimise MySQL database schemas, queries and stored procedures.
• Integrate internal and external systems, fix defects and tune performance.
• Support deployments across development, testing and production environments using CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and execute unit tests, support integration and system testing, and improve test coverage with AI‑assisted techniques.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure compliance with authority coding standards and OWASP secure coding practices.
• Prepare and maintain system design documents, API specifications and database technical documentation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, external vendors and government agencies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Software Developer or Engineer.
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering secure, scalable and maintainable solutions in a public‑sector context.
