Operation Management Engineer (Productivity)

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials science and engineering solutions for semiconductors and advanced displays, is hiring an Operation Management (Productivity) engineer in Singapore. The role focuses on improving productivity, cycle time, throughput and capacity through lean principles, automation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the operation team to meet delivery requirements.
• Set and review line performance KPI targets daily, weekly and monthly, and drive the team to achieve KPIs such as Move, CT, wafer out and CLIP.
• Develop and maintain operation dashboards and management reports on line performance (CLIP fulfillment, CT, Move, Productivity Index).
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve productivity, cycle time, throughput and capacity planning.
• Drive process standardization, simplification and removal of redundancy to reach productivity goals.
• Lead continuous improvement projects on waste elimination, cost reduction, automation and productivity improvement.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations or continuous improvement.
• Experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, electronics, industrial or related industries preferred.
• Proven track record of cross-functional improvement initiatives with measurable business results.
• Strong leadership, motivation, communication and problem-solving skills; strong team player.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
• Knowledge of lean principles, automation and continuous improvement.

The work location is Science Park II, moving to Tampines from the end of 2026. The position is full-time, regular and non-relocatable.
