Operations Manager – Food Manufacturing

About the role

The Operations Manager will ensure production targets are met while maintaining efficient, safe, and compliant operations at the food manufacturing facility in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure employee safety and compliance with safety, food safety, and environmental regulations, monitoring and improving performance.
• Collaborate with the QA department to implement, execute, and maintain the quality management system.
• Lead day‑to‑day operational activities to achieve quality, operational, and financial objectives.
• Hire, develop, and nurture talent, fostering a collaborative cross‑functional culture.
• Support budget definition and execution, monitoring costs and production effectiveness.
• Identify and implement process improvements, lean manufacturing initiatives, and new technologies to boost efficiency.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of equipment to minimise downtime and ensure smooth production.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proficient English; Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
• Experience with MS Office Suite, SAP, and manufacturing applications such as scheduling, CMMS, and MES.
• Strong technical background supporting continuous‑improvement environments.
