Part-time Lecturer – Hospitality & Tourism

About the role

SSTC Institute is seeking a dynamic part‑time lecturer to deliver engaging lectures and workshops across core hospitality and tourism modules. You will shape curriculum, mentor students, and ensure alignment with industry trends and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical workshops for undergraduate and diploma students.
• Review and update course materials, reading lists, and lesson plans to reflect current industry practices.
• Integrate digital tools and sustainable hospitality concepts into teaching.
• Design, invigilate, and grade examinations, assignments, and continuous assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback, academic counseling, and mentorship for industry projects and internships.
• Maintain accurate student records in compliance with institutional policies.
• Participate in faculty meetings, academic committees, and institutional events.
• Collaborate with operations and academic teams to ensure quality‑assurance compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a closely related field.
• 2–3 years of teaching experience in higher education, private education institutions, or polytechnic settings.
• Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Relevant industry experience in tourism, hotel, or hospitality sectors is preferred.
