About the role
The NTU Master of Arts in Linguistics is looking for experienced part-time lecturers to teach courses in linguistics covering three concentrations: Language and Cognition, Language and Society, and Language Structure. Candidates must have a proven track record teaching in at least one of these areas.
Key responsibilities
- Design the course syllabus, assignments and assessments
- Conduct lectures and/or seminars
- Mark and grade student work
- Provide student consultation and constructive feedback to support learning
Required profile
- A master's or PhD degree in linguistics or a related field
- Proven experience teaching in one of the three concentration areas
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and curriculum development in higher education
