Part‑time Lecturer in Publishing

About the role
NTU’s School of Humanities is seeking part‑time lecturers to deliver humanities‑related courses within its Continuing Education programme. The role involves teaching, workshop facilitation and student support for subjects such as publishing, editing, digital humanities and related areas.
Key responsibilities
- Lead workshops and seminars (approximately 12 teaching hours per term).
- Plan syllabi, prepare class materials and design assessments.
- Mark assignments and provide constructive feedback.
- Consult with students to support their learning progress.
Required profile
- MA or PhD degree, or extensive industry experience in publishing, editing, digital humanities or related fields.
- Proven track record of teaching or delivering adult education.
- Ability to teach at least one of the following: Practical Ethics, Culture & History relevant to Singapore, Digital Humanities, Environmental Humanities, Editing, Publishing, Branding.
Required skills
- Subject‑matter expertise in publishing and related humanities disciplines.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
