People and Culture Executive

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, energetic, and detail‑oriented HR professional to join the opening team of Mama Shelter Singapore Orchard. This role goes beyond traditional back‑office HR, playing a pivotal part in shaping the culture, energy, and people operations of one of Singapore’s most exciting lifestyle‑hospitality concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare employment contracts, letters, and HR documentation in line with Singapore employment regulations.
• Maintain employee records, attendance, leave administration, and ensure audit‑ready files.
• Support work‑pass administration, onboarding paperwork, and employee declarations.
• Coordinate medical checks, insurance matters, and statutory documentation.
• Assist payroll preparation by providing accurate HR data.
• Manage recruitment activities: job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding.
• Maintain recruitment trackers and candidate databases; support manpower planning and reporting.
• Act as first point of contact for employee HR queries and drive engagement, celebrations, and internal culture initiatives.
• Maintain HR trackers, daily reports, probation reviews, and attendance follow‑ups.
• Coordinate with external vendors, government portals, and institutions as needed.
• Support workplace safety documentation, staff training, orientation sessions, and operational briefings.

Required profile

• Experience in HR administration, recruitment, or HR operations, preferably within hospitality, F&B, or lifestyle environments.
• Familiarity with Singapore employment regulations and HR practices.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and confidentiality skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced opening environment.
