Performance, Rewards and Benefits Intern

About the role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is recruiting a Performance, Rewards and Benefits intern within its Global Human Resources - Global Performance, Rewards and Benefits (GHR - GPRB) team. The internship runs from 11 January 2027 to 30 June 2027 and is based in Singapore. The intern supports the regional team with year-end reviews, system testing, data analysis and reporting, and the role suits someone detail-oriented, analytical and eager to gain practical experience in total rewards.

The position is open to Singaporean and PR students only; MUFG's internship partners in Singapore include NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD and SUSS. Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparing and running year-end performance and compensation reviews, including gathering data, consolidating information and supporting data analysis.
• Support systems testing for performance, compensation and benefits platforms, working with the HR Central Service team and vendors where needed.
• Contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives.
• Help create presentations, reports and data analyses.
• Help curate or review communication materials with end users in mind.
• Collaborate with team members across the region on ad-hoc requests and activities.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned and follow company policies and guidelines.

Required profile

• Singaporean or PR student.
• Strong analytical skills, able to interpret data and make recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, meticulous and organised, able to handle confidential information and multiple tasks at once.
• Prior experience or coursework in HR or compensation and benefits is a plus but not required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
