Planning and Control Planner

About the role

Join Applied Materials in Singapore as a Planning and Control Planner, responsible for ensuring material availability and production efficiency through robust planning, inventory, and process control activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain SAP work order release schedule and perform pre‑shortage analysis to increase component availability.
• Review MRP execution, reconcile supply and demand, and validate master scheduling requirements.
• Manage engineering change orders, prepare status reports, and participate in production meetings.
• Analyze inventory usage, forecast spare parts needs, and handle obsolete inventory.
• Support process control by identifying root causes, driving cycle counting, and conducting data analysis and forecasting using Tableau, Python, and SQL.

Required profile

• Experience with production, inventory, or material resources planning (MRP) in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams, including engineers and finance, to resolve material and WIP issues.
