Planning and Control Planner

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Planning and Control Planner to manage production, inventory, and material resources planning (MRP) for its Singapore operations. You will ensure timely material availability, maintain SAP production schedules, and support engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain SAP production order release schedule and reschedule jobs as needed.
• Perform pre‑shortage analysis, work order variance analysis, and review MRP execution for accuracy.
• Manage engineering change orders, conduct system audits, and prepare status reports.
• Analyze inventory usage, forecast spare parts, and resolve material variances.

Required profile

• Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in planning and control disciplines.
• Understands key business drivers and applies them to daily tasks.
• Provides informal guidance to new team members.
• Solves straightforward problems using technical experience and judgment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP production planning modules.
• Experience in Material Resources Planning (MRP) and inventory control.
• Ability to perform variance analysis and pre‑shortage assessments.
