Planning and Control Planner – Shift Role

About the role

The Production and Control Planner supports material control, inventory transactions, quality notification implementation and project execution. The role serves as a key point of contact for part status inquiries and ensures accurate inventory management to support manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to ad‑hoc part status queries from internal stakeholders (Production, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain) and provide timely updates on material availability, inventory status, shortages and open orders.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to part status and inventory records.
• Coordinate and execute Quality Notification (QN) implementation activities, working closely with Quality, Engineering and Production teams.
• Perform SAP transactions (MIGO) to support material movements, goods receipts, inventory transfers and stock adjustments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.
• Investigate and correct transaction‑related discrepancies as required.
• Place project materials into On‑Hand inventory status to support project execution and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align material, inventory and production status with project milestones and operational requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Business or a related discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing, production control, inventory management or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of SAP, particularly MIGO transactions (preferred).
• Familiarity with Quality Notification (QN) processes (advantage).
