Planning Supervisor (Front-End)

About the role

KLA, a global leader in electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, is looking for a Planning Supervisor (Front-End) in Singapore. The role leads a team of production planners and owns the end-to-end planning strategy, aligning production plans with customer demand, capacity constraints and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, develop and scale a high-performing team of production planners, fostering accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Own the development and execution of short- and long-term production plans aligned to demand, capacity and business goals.
• Drive end-to-end planning strategy, integrating demand, supply and production plans within S&OP / IBP frameworks.
• Establish, standardize and improve planning processes, systems and best practices across the organization.
• Provide strategic input to executive leadership through scenario modeling, capacity planning and risk assessments.
• Oversee planning execution in ERP and advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP, MRP/MPS), ensuring data integrity and process discipline.
• Analyze demand, capacity and supply signals to identify gaps, risks and optimization opportunities.
• Define and monitor KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, cycle time, service levels and on-time starts.
• Drive planning readiness for new product launches, product ramps and lifecycle transitions.
• Partner with operations, engineering and supply chain teams to mitigate capacity, material shortage and supply disruption risks.
• Support executive reviews, audits and operational readiness with data-driven insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain or operations in a semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing planning teams in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Strong expertise in assembly/test operations and manufacturing flow.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of MRP, MPS, S&OP / IBP processes and long lead-time material management.
• Experience driving process transformation, system optimization and cross-functional alignment.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong analytical capabilities (Excel, data modeling).
