Plant Engineer

About the role

Join Nestlé’s Jurong manufacturing site as a Plant Engineer, where you will ensure that all plant equipment and facilities operate efficiently and safely. You will play a key part in driving maintenance excellence and continuous improvement within a leading food and beverage environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define, propose and monitor Maintenance and Improvement (M&I) plans in line with Nestlé Engineering Excellence (NEE) guidelines.
• Maintain and repair manufacturing plant, ancillary equipment, and building infrastructure for the Milo Process and Fill & Pack lines.
• Lead the M&I team, fostering competence, motivation and performance to meet objectives.
• Implement work processes, procedures and technical resources for the M&I function.
• Facilitate Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) pillars and manage the M&I budget.
• Execute minor and major improvement projects and support energy‑ and water‑saving initiatives.
• Conduct in‑house theory and practical training for selected employees.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in plant maintenance or engineering within a manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of maintenance management and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
• Ability to lead and coordinate maintenance teams effectively.
