Plant Engineer – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Plant Engineer to join our Nestlé manufacturing site in Jurong, Singapore. The role focuses on ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the Milo plant’s process and fill‑pack equipment, while driving continuous improvement across the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Define, propose and monitor Maintenance & Improvement (M&I) plans in line with Nestlé Engineering Excellence guidelines.
• Maintain and repair manufacturing plant and ancillary equipment, ensuring smooth operation of the Milo Process and Fill‑Pack lines.
• Lead the M&I team, fostering competence, motivation and performance to meet objectives.
• Develop and implement work processes, procedures and technical resources for the M&I function.
• Facilitate the TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) pillar and manage the M&I budget.
• Execute improvement projects, both minor and major, and support energy and water saving initiatives.
• Conduct in‑house theory and practical training for selected employees.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in plant maintenance or as a plant engineer within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage budgets.

Required skills

• Maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of TPM and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with energy and water saving programs.
