PLC Engineer – Industrial Automation & SCADA

About the role

We are seeking a PLC Engineer to join our industrial automation team, focusing on the design, programming and integration of PLC and SCADA systems for a variety of projects across Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, modify and troubleshoot PLC control programs for automation projects.
• Configure and support HMI functions and integrate PLCs with SCADA systems.
• Perform PLC software testing, debugging, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Conduct I/O testing, loop checks and onsite commissioning.
• Integrate PLC systems with field devices, control panels and third‑party equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve PLC, control system and industrial communication issues.
• Review electrical drawings, control schematics and I/O wiring diagrams.
• Prepare technical documentation such as I/O lists, functional descriptions and test records.
• Collaborate with project engineers, system engineers, customers and vendors throughout project execution.
• Provide technical support during commissioning, hand‑over and post‑commissioning troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting or industrial automation systems.
• Background in manufacturing, production, OEM machine building or system integration environments is a plus.
