Postdoctoral Fellow - Neuromorphic Materials & Devices

About the role

The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow to lead research on neuromorphic materials and devices. The fellow will work in a laboratory that was a pioneer in neuromorphic computing and has influenced widely used AI products. The project focuses on experimental post-CMOS and novel electronic devices such as memristors that behave like neurons, targeting 2D materials, phase transition materials, spintronics and other nonlinear materials.

• Give presentations at major conferences

Required profile

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience in experimental device fabrication and/or testing, including experience gained during the PhD
• Good written and oral communication skills, with papers published in leading conferences or journals
• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply

Required skills

• Plus: experience with 2D materials, memristors and optically materials
• Plus: familiarity with neuromorphic computing and AI models
