Postdoctoral Research Fellow – Climate Change & Corporate Law

About the role
The Asia‑Pacific Centre for Environmental Law at NUS Law, in partnership with the Quadrature Climate Foundation, seeks an outstanding researcher to join a one‑year, full‑time post‑doctoral fellowship. Working closely with Dr. Jolene Lin and Prof. Ernest Lim, you will advance a cutting‑edge agenda on corporate climate accountability.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and lead an independent research programme on climate change and corporate law.
- Produce high‑quality scholarly outputs, including journal articles and book chapters.
- Collaborate with senior faculty to shape interdisciplinary research directions.
- Participate in conferences, workshops, and field research as needed.
- Maintain residence on the NUS campus for the duration of the appointment.
Required profile
- PhD (or imminent award) in law, preferably with focus on climate change, corporate governance, or transnational environmental law.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct empirical or interdisciplinary legal research.
- Strong motivation, independence, and teamwork skills across disciplines and jurisdictions.
Required skills
- Legal research and academic writing.
- Data analysis for empirical legal studies.
- Familiarity with climate‑related regulatory frameworks.
