Principal Product Manager, AI Enablement

About the role

Grab is looking for a Principal Product Manager to own AI enablement across the company. About 70% of the role is enabling internal teams to adopt AI platform primitives and turn them into commercial opportunities; the remaining 30% is research product management. The role reports to the Head of Product, Data & AI Platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Drive AI-native adoption across Grab by embedding with internal teams as their AI product partner, ensuring new ventures launch AI-native and mature businesses re-platform their highest-value use cases.
• Connect platform innovation to commercial opportunity: identify which primitives unlock which business cases, broker partnerships, and win leadership alignment and funding.
• Partner with stream-aligned teams to build first solutions on new primitives, then hand them off to platform teams for maintenance and scale.
• Shape the AI Center of Excellence agenda, identifying and delivering high-value opportunities as the CoE grows.
• Act as Research PM for frontier AI, partnering with research and engineering and packaging research outputs into usable primitives.
• Codify a repeatable AI-native playbook so any Grab team can go AI-native without one-off hand-holding.

Required profile

• At least 8 years as a product manager or founder, with depth in AI/ML, data, or developer and platform products.
• Evidence of operating at a Principal or staff level of scope and autonomy.
• Ability to influence Director- and VP-level stakeholders and broker cross-team partnerships.
• Comfortable working hands-on with customer teams in undefined territory.

Required skills

• Commercial translation: turning technical primitives into business cases, user outcomes, revenue or new product lines.
• Storytelling: making complex technology legible to non-technical audiences.
• Technical depth in AI, enough to be a credible partner to AI researchers.
