Principal / Senior Resident Physician (NUHS@Home)

About the role

The NUHS@Home programme offers eligible patients the option to receive acute hospital care and services at home instead of in the hospital, under the supervision of a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals who monitor patients remotely via smart devices. NUHS is looking for a Principal / Senior Resident Physician to join its care team.

Key responsibilities

• Work as part of the care team led by Senior Consultants / Consultants, supporting the overall supervision and day-to-day running of the NUHS@Home wards, including patient care.
• Maintain high standards of practice and show the ability to handle medical emergencies and stressful situations.
• Take on additional duties such as clinical administration.
• Demonstrate good diagnostic and clinical management acumen and perform other duties as directed by the NUHS@Home Lead.

Required profile

• Active in clinical practice.
• Basic medical degree and a Postgraduate qualification registrable with the Singapore Medical Council.
• At least 6 years of post-housemanship experience.
