Process Engineer – Process Industry – Chemical Plant – West

About the role

We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our chemical plant operations in the West region of Singapore. The role focuses on analysing, improving and maintaining process workflows, supporting our digitalisation journey and ensuring safe, efficient production.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate existing processes, take measurements and interpret data, including SCADA system operations.
• Perform risk assessments and conduct PSM and HAZOP studies.
• Research, design and develop processes to optimise productivity and workflow.
• Oversee operations and maintenance of facility processes.
• Determine organisational setup and implement new procedures.
• Investigate and troubleshoot problems in processes, procedures and operations.
• Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve throughput and quality.
• Manage cost and time constraints while providing process documentation and operating instructions.
• Plan and execute plant shutdowns as a turn‑key manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in the process industry.
• Strong knowledge of process‑related standards, process improvement and safety management.
• Team‑oriented and dynamic attitude.
