Process Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Join Agilent Technologies in Singapore as a Process Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer, supporting the production of mass spectrometer modules and sub‑assemblies. You will lead cross‑functional teams to improve product quality, yield and cycle time while ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement of factory yield, warranty rates and production efficiency.
• Provide technical support for day‑to‑day product issues, including customer quality concerns, line troubleshooting and product change validation.
• Redesign products and processes to meet cost, obsolescence and customer requirements.
• Lead value‑engineering, current product engineering and new product introduction projects.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and digital solutions to optimise manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with procurement and material engineering to qualify materials for quality, cost and manufacturability goals.
• Work with R&D on design for manufacturability, risk assessments and prototype transition to production.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering, Physics or Computer Science.
• Strong product engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex engineering projects.
