Procurement Excellence Director – Asia Pacific

About the role

Bureau Veritas Asia‑Pacific is seeking a Procurement Excellence Director to design and lead a unified, region‑wide procurement function. This strategic transformation role will build governance, processes, and digital capabilities over a three‑year roadmap, driving cost optimisation, compliance and supplier performance across the APA region.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement regional procurement strategy, governance, and compliance frameworks aligned with Group standards.
• Lead spend management, category strategy and supplier optimisation for key spend families such as subcontracting, real estate, travel, and labs.
• Design and roll out standardized end‑to‑end procurement processes, risk management protocols and KPI dashboards.
• Drive digital enablement by leveraging Flex P2P, Tableau, BI and AI tools, ensuring system adoption and data governance.
• Develop and execute a multi‑year transformation roadmap, managing cross‑functional projects and steering committees.
• Build, train and mentor a regional procurement community, establishing centres of excellence and career pathways.

Required profile

• University degree in Business or a related field.
• Proven experience in a regional or multi‑country procurement leadership role, managing cross‑functional and cross‑geography teams.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
