Product Design Engineer – High‑Speed Interconnect Solutions

About the role

Molex is seeking a Product Design Engineer to lead the design of high‑speed interconnect solutions. You will work from concept through production, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative connector products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and participate in product development activities from concept to production using a defined development process.
• Provide engineering support for design improvements, cost reductions, and manufacturing process enhancements.
• Generate design specifications, proposals, and documentation that meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and manufacturing teams across time zones.
• Visit customers, ODMs, and contract manufacturers to support product and manufacturing activities when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Manufacturing preferred).
• Experience with advanced parametric 3D CAD systems.
• Strong oral and written communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills.
