Product Engineer - Advanced Data Analytics (HBM)

About the role

Micron Technology is hiring a Product Engineer for its Heterogeneous Integration Group (HIG) HBM Product Engineering team, based in Fab 10A, Singapore. The role leads a high-performing team that drives initiatives improving yield and quality through advanced data analysis, machine learning and AI. It works with cross-functional teams inside and outside HBM to improve quality, cost, cycle time and scale.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve cumulative yield and quality.
• Analyze engineering data with statistical tools, machine learning and AI to improve yield and reliability, integrated into the Dispo workflow.
• Develop machine learning and deep learning models for data mining, pattern recognition, quality enhancement, yield improvement and wafer/die-level screening.
• Build the data infrastructure pipeline with cloud technologies, working with IT, Manufacturing and Operations.
• Collaborate with Fab, HBM Technology Development, HBM Design, System Development and Quality/Reliability teams.
• Promote innovation and work with teams to develop, deploy and validate AI/ML models that improve quality, cost, cycle time and scale.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence or a related field.
• Strong technical skills in data analytics and analysis tools.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Responsibility, accountability and a professional work ethic.
• Onsite work in Singapore with international travel to Taiwan required.
