Product Engineer (Mechanical)

About the role

Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is hiring a Product Engineer (Mechanical) in Singapore. The role supports the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft components and systems, working closely with test equipment OEMs and contributing to process improvements and new production introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Support MRO production, testing and troubleshooting of aircraft components and systems
• Lead investigations, fault isolation and root cause analysis of technical defects
• Work closely with test equipment OEMs to address failures in a timely manner and on all technical matters
• Work on process improvement projects for better efficiency
• Support new production introduction
• Provide technical assistance to upkeep and maintain testing equipment
• Work with stakeholders to meet Value Stream objectives
• Comply with US and Singapore export control regulations

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering; candidates still studying for their degree are welcome to apply
• 2 years of relevant engineering experience in the aviation industry preferred
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, schematics and documentation
• Experience in test equipment troubleshooting and maintenance, and knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), are advantages
• Ability to work independently and across multiple time zones, and to adapt to a fast-changing, multicultural environment
• Good oral and written communication skills
