About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Production Control and Planning professional to manage material flow and inventory for its semiconductor manufacturing operations in Singapore. The role ensures timely release of work orders, maintains MRP integrity, and supports engineering change processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain Oracle work order release schedule to provide on‑time material to manufacturing and engineering.
• Perform pre‑shortage analysis, work order variance analysis, and review MRP execution for accuracy.
• Validate and disposition Engineering Change Orders, conduct system maintenance and audits.
• Prepare status reports on ECOs/ECRs and participate in production meetings to communicate material shortage dates.
• Analyze inventory usage, order parts to meet service levels, and manage obsolete inventory.

Required profile

• Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in production control and planning.
• Understands key business drivers and applies them to daily tasks.
• Provides informal guidance to new team members without formal supervisory responsibilities.
• Solves problems using technical experience and sound judgment.
