Production Operator – Food Processing

About the role

The Production Operator supports food processing and filling operations in a manufacturing plant, following detailed work instructions. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and equipment performance while working in a non‑air‑conditioned environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute production tasks according to standard operating procedures.
• Prepare equipment for start‑up, including verification of metal detectors and other critical control points.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Check and record net weight digitally for each batch.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping throughout the plant.
• Adhere to all hygiene and safety protocols.
• Carry out any additional duties as assigned by the First Line Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum NITEC or foreign diploma/degree in Engineering.
• Willingness to work rotating weekly shifts covering mornings, evenings, and nights.
• Ability to work in a non‑air‑conditioned production environment.
• WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1 is an advantage.
